Responsible for the oversight of all laboratory operations.
The position responsibilities include supervision, personnel management and oversight of the laboratory staff and operations, handling of human resource issues including payroll for the department, and managing the daily operations of the laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with the other department managers, providers and patients of the practice and carry out their supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws to include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
We offer an incredibly competitive compensation and benefits package, 401K after six months with up to 4% matching, an additional annual discretionary profit sharing contribution, as well as liberal paid time-off and paid holidays.

Job Requirements:
A minimum of three to five years related supervisory experience, valid New York State license as a medical technologist and a Bachelor's degree (B.
A.
/ B.
S.
) from four-year college or university; or six or more years related experience and/or training in the laboratory setting, preferable with some supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive experience with laboratory information systems is a plus.
Excellent computer skills are required and previous Medent EMR experience is preferred.

This PCP/Primary Care Physician will maintain an ongoing relationship with the patient and will then always be in charge of their care.
They will oversee the care team that consists of nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and Diabetic Educators who might interact with the patients when they visit the office.
Our care team will work towards ensuring that the patients receive the appropriate age-related preventative testing and treatment as well as the latest evidence-based treatment (proven and documented) for their individual medical condition(s).
We continue to grow and expand our services in order to meet the demands of our patient population.
