The product manager is responsible for providing product management activities for the STC Marketing Department of the SSC business line in the areas of sales channel guidance, customer technical support, product manufacturing support, new product development, and product marketing.
Responsibilities:
Direct all aspects of product management; including product changes/improvements (following the appropriate INFICON procedures), assisting in new product development (utilizing the appropriate IPMM procedures).
Develop and implement general marketing and promotional strategies for products and promote product lines as a whole through appropriate product literature, publications, presentations at professional meetings and active membership in professional societies.
Manage and communicate relevant product changes, warranty information, product accessory information and software updates by developing relevant materials including Marketing News bulletins for both internal and external customers.
Direct pricing strategy and create price sheets as appropriate. Maintain current knowledge of all prices and sales procedures and understand order priority and lead-time. Provide product forecasts and work with operations as necessary to coordinate deliveries. Recommend approaches to improve market position and reduce costs.
Support worldwide sales personnel through communication of appropriate product and marketing information, assistance with sales quotes and contracts, and by accompanying on customer visits as necessary. Develop support materials such as competitive analyses and cost of ownership.
Direct the development strategy for service philosophy, manuals (operating, service, training), software features, application notes, and any other technical support documentation.
Support communication and advertising efforts to include marketing materials (brochures, supplemental sales materials, etc.), web-based promotional material, trade show support, and other related endeavors.
Assist the Marketing Manager with various assignments as required.
Minimum required travel 30%
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Interdisciplinary Engineering and Management, Physics or Chemistry is required
Minimum of 3-4 years experience in product management within the semiconductor or similar industry is required.
Experience in RF design, theory of operation and practical RF sensor deployment is required.
Experience in customer support with ability to adapt to various field situations and personnel is required.
Must be able to interact interdepartmentally in a professional manner is required.
Proficient in Office applications as well as familiarity with applicable software is required.
Excellent communication and problem solving skills, including written, oral and presentation is required.
Ability to listen carefully, respond intelligently and follow-up appropriately is required.
Experience in optical emission spectrometer technology is preferred.
GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
