HR Works is seeking a Sales and Recruiting Coordinator for our Syracuse, NY office. The successful candidate will serve in a specialized role dedicated to both sales support and recruitment of HR consultants for our growing team. This dual role supports the Vice President, Business Development with day-to-day sales activities for the growing Central NY region, and works with our recruiting team to handle recruiting of professional human resource talent.
HR Works is a 24-year old human resource consulting firm supporting a national client base which includes Fortune 500 corporations. Responsibilities Include:
o Assisting with proposal writing and client agreements.
o Updating client/prospect information in Salesforce.com.
o Generating sales reports.
o Researching potential clients.
o Prioritizing tasks and being able to meet targets and deadlines in a timely manner.
o Sourcing passive candidates using resume search databases; social media (i.e., LinkedIn), and networking.
o Creating and posting HR job opportunities to free and paid job boards.
o Screening resumes, conducting phone and face to face interviews.
o Maintaining applicant tracking system.
o Conducting background and reference checks.
o Representing HR Works at human resource association events in Central New York.
o Answering calls, keeping the office organized, and handling general administrative duties.
Experience and Education:
o Minimum of two (2) years in a recruiting role with a Bachelor's degree required.
o Excellent writing, proof reading and communications skills are required.
o Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office Products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
o Experience with Salesforce.com a plus.
o Demonstrated skills in administrative functions. Strong follow-up skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
