BROAD FUNCTION:
As a Business Analyst - SAP, this individual contributor, working in a team based environment, must have the ability to quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into improved SAP business processes. This position requires the development of a broad SAP knowledge and functionality, especially in the modules of materials management (MM) and production planning (PP). The successful candidate will be a self motivated, data driven decision maker, effective at communicating and working with others, and have a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities:
Provide recommendations and lead projects that enhance the use of SAP to support our Operation's strategic and performance goals.
Through business analytics and process understanding, lead efforts to eliminate waste and improve processes and productivity.
Perform root cause analysis and work with other team members to implement corrective actions that improve data integrity, business rules and processes and reporting.
Analyze inventory trends, purchasing strategies, customer on-time delivery and supplier performance data and provide recommendations for optimization.
Development of training materials for business process and SAP changes.
Ongoing external SAP MM and PP training will be provided for individual development.
Expected to develop into a subject matter expert in SAP MM and PP.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Technical discipline from an accredited College or University. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
Microsoft Excel experience at an intermediate level
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation
Must be able to interact interdepartmentally in a professional manner and work in a team based environment
Creative problem solving and analytical skills
Travel: less than 20%
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of MRP and inventory management
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
SAP knowledge and experience
Master's degree from an accredited College or University
