BROAD FUNCTION:
Repair, Diagnose and Troubleshoot INFICON Leak Detectors. When needed, provide support to INFICON team (KAMs, Field Service, Trainers, Application Engineer) regarding repair, diagnosis and troubleshooting techniques of INFICON Leak Detectors. Provide internal product design improvements internally and contribute to productivity improvement meetings.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair INFICON equipment to module and component level
Test and verify operation of repaired equipment.
Document individual equipment repair incidences utilizing the SAP service computer system
Learn, service, and repair multiple product lines
Maintain and assist in the construction of specialized Service Center equipment
Operate the required test/service equipment, PC software applications, and SAP applications
Assist with the Leak Detection Technical Support for customers service related questions.
Ability to be assigned a task, then, work independently under minimal supervision using judgment and discretion to accomplish the objectives
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Associates degree in Engineering or Science Technology. Recent graduates will need to provide a copy of their transcript as part of the interviewing and selection process.
Ability to work in a team based environment
Working knowledge of Windows
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
Must be able to lift 75 pound demo equipment, climb ladders and stairs.
Aptitude or experience working in a team environment
Aptitude or experience troubleshooting and diagnostics.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
More than one year of direct experience in product service or an applicable manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and practical use of standard vacuum technology practices.
