BROAD FUNCTION:
In this position you will accelerate the delivery and improve the quality of Inficon products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing development, test and deployment infrastructure. You will be part of an engineering team that is working on a wide range of technologies, including FPGAs, electronic sensors and chemical analysis. Your focus is on developing code rather than fixing or finding bugs, and your job is to accelerate product development by helping engineers help themselves.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based software for both embedded and cloud-based servers, in close collaboration with other developers, scientists, engineers, and marketing.
Build, configure, test and tune Linux application and system software
Automate Linux-based build, test, and deployment tools.
DevOps, including performance tuning, testing, monitoring, securing, and troubleshooting deployments.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science (BS) in computer science or engineering. New graduates will need to provide a copy of their transcript as part of the interviewing and screening process.
A minimum of two years experience in similar positions.
Programming in C and Linux-based scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, and Bash.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Masters of Science (MS) in computer science or engineering. New graduates will need to provide a copy of their transcript as part of the interviewing and screening process.
Experience with back-end web stacks and application servers such as nginx.
Building Linux systems from source, e.g. Yocto, Device tree.
Experience developing Linux device drivers, preferably for FPGA-based SoC.
Cloud configuration, administration, security, and deployment of networked Linux servers (DevOps).
Familiar with emerging technologies such as Docker and Snappy.
Experience with JavaScript, Python, Git, Android, RESTful APIs.
Continuous integration tools, test automation, deployment automation, release management.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
